Biography
Of Italian origin, Claudio discovered his passion for music at the age of 8 when he started playing the piano. His passion grew over the years and he distinguished himself by winning the classical music prize at the conservatory. Subsequently, he had the chance to work alongside great names in jazz and classical, notably the pianist ANDRE BORLI and FRANCOISE CHAFFIAUD. His desire for improvement led him to study harmony at the Nice Conservatory under the tutelage of Mr LUSIGNANT, as well as the vocal part with Agnes CHAUVOT, Pierre CAPELLE and Benoît GUNALONS.
His talent did not go unnoticed, and he recorded his first single, a collection of romantic compositions, which received wide distribution on prestigious radio stations such as NOSTALGIE, France Bleu Azur, and Radio Azur. His notoriety continues to grow thanks to television appearances, notably alongside Sébastien Cauet on channels such as France 2 and NT1, as well as during a live performance on RadioPlus in Mauritius.
These experiences prepared the ground for Claudio who then performed in the most prestigious palaces of the Côte d'Azur, as well as on the legendary "Orient Express" train. Today, Claudio BARROERO innovates with a new artistic concept combining the tenor voice with the harp, thus creating the duo “HARP'S VOICE”. His fame leads him to perform regularly abroad, in Italy and Mauritius, where his talent is highly recognized.
In addition to his career as a singer and musician, Claudio masterfully directs two choirs with more than 120 singers in total: “La Chorale Vie en Chansons” and “La Chorale du Soleil” in Valbonne and Antibes. Fascinated by the multiple facets of singing, he regularly explores popular and classical music, while leaving his mark in the fields of traditional and lyrical song.
